If, ever, you saw….
For a smile is always my un-uttered law.
If, ever, you heard….
For to you I wold gladly become a songbird.
If, ever, you tasted….
For the stain of your kiss- I don’t want to erase it.
If, ever, you felt….
For in the fire of love, I’ll let myself melt.
If, ever, you called….
For if you required, I’d not hesitate- ever, at all.
If, ever, you loved….
For I’d stand true in my knowledge that I am enough.
If, ever, you knew….
For I’d continue to forever tell you.

Yet another poem this week! I do hope this isn't over sharing; please let me know if it is.
Anyhow, this one was written as a Homecoming gift for my partner of three years. At least, three years in November. This is a milestone for me, especially considering my age and the things I've been told by family.
I hope you all are having lovely weeks out there, and remember, I'm always willing to write poems for you- just ask.
