So, riddle me this.
You can get a bag for your dogs shit, for free, anywhere. From parks to cities.
But I have to pay for a pad or tampon in public restrooms.

It's because Republicans own dogs so they're fine with free dog bags. But there aren't any Republican women* so they're like pfft it's the girls problem.
*no self respecting ones
ReplyI’m not a republican, but if you think there aren’t republican women, you’ve never been to the south. White southern women are some of the most conservative people I’ve ever encountered in my life.
ReplyLike I remember when I was a kid with my mom (who’s also black) in Mississippi some white woman came up to us and started talking about how slavery “wasn’t that bad” because they gave us food and housing. And I’m not that old, I wasn’t a kid that long ago, I’m not talking about decades and decades ago, I’m talking about 2015.
ReplyThe crazy thing is she was smiling like she didn’t think anything was wrong with what she was saying and she thought she was just having a normal conversation.
ReplyI’m not going to answer this question because I agree with the reason or I think the reason is good. But the reason why tampons aren’t free is because this is America and nothing related to medicine for anybody is free. Dog poop on the ground affects property owners so the government cares about that. But the government doesn’t really care about what happens to the bodies of people to whom money is not no object. Anybody who actually has enough money to affect government policy isn’t complaining that they have to pay for tampons because they think money is an infinite resource, because to them, it is.
