i've never really had such a major issue with this case until now. for the past three days, every night i try to fall asleep, it just takes so much for me to actually accomplish this. i eat healthily and regularly, even stretch and meditate before bed, but when i'm in it at a VERY reasonable hour, which is 9 pm, i just can't fall asleep. i'm trying to take proper care of myself and my sleeping cycle, so i make it a priority to sleep 7 to 8 hours a day (which i've found out to be just as much as my body needs and when it feels at its best), but before i'm finally asleep, i literally toss around the bed for two hours. and i'm not even kidding! yesterday i hopped into the bed at 9 pm, all ready to sleep, but heck, i eventually managed to shut my eyes at around 11. and what's more, i even woke up at night, at 3 am, out of nowhere! meaning i slept even less. but besides, basically the idea is, i don't really know what to focus my mind on while trying to fall asleep? ever since i can remember, i would make up some stories including myself and because of me engaging in such activity, i would eventually drift to sleep. but lately i realised these are very toxic things i'm clinging onto in my imaginations, not to mention i just do it far too often it causes me problems, hence i decided to give it up. and as much as it's not that much a big deal during daytime, i really don't know what else to do instead that could efficiently help me fall asleep? i should probably also mention that i always try to make sure the room temperature's ok, the lights are off, there's not much noise and i don't use my mobile (or any other device) before heading to sleep. any advice on what do i do? i also really want to thank anyone who's read this, and moreover, thank in advice those that might reply. have a nice day!
