Sister...

So my sister is 7 years older than me. She hates me and abuses me. I don't know what to do. My parents always tell me "stand up for yourself" but whenever I do my sister hits/kicks me and/or my parents yell at me for talking back. Whenever I ask "why do you hate me" she never answers and hits me. She always says "I hope you die" or "I want to kill you" and it scares me. Whenever I tell my parents they don't believe me that she hit me. They always think I'm lying and I get in trouble. My sister is the older one and is supposed to be mature so apparently she's not lying. I don't know what to do anymore it's been happening for more than 6 years and it keeps getting worse. And just a few minutes ago she punched me and kicked me because I said "why don't you like me? Is it your job to bully little kids?" And she Pushed me down kicked me then punched my arm really hard. I have a bruise on my leg and arm. My parents don't believe me and I'm sitting in my room crying. I don't even know anymore...

You need to talk to another family member that you trust. Whether its your grandmother, or an aunt or even a cousin- you need to do it. If you have a phone and you sense an altercation coming, start recording. Record the shit out of that girl (discreetly if you can) and then bring it to someone as proof. Take pictures of your injuries. Abuse is NEVER ok. not from anyone.
I am sorry this is happening to you darling, i really am. Stay strong.
ReplyTry recording her maybe?
ReplyIf your parents won't listen, talk to someone else you feel could help you, are you at high school? There has to be some psychologist or teacher that you can talk to.You might think that if you do that, things will get worse as she will try to get payback, but you just said it's been 6 years and it's getting worse, you HAVE to do something about it.Also, the recording is a good idea, since you will have solid proof.
ReplyIt only gets worse if you don't get help..... Trust me, I lived with a child molester and two abusers
