Why should we let rapists and murderer's live back into our lives after they have ruined, or even ended, the lives of our loved ones? Why let a paedophile out of a 5 year prison sentence back into a playground full of innocent young children?
I have decided to write this after a 101 year-old man raped 30 young children and got a 13 Year sentence. This enrages me. He is the oldest man alive to be convicted at this age. What will he learn? Most people say that it's a way to make the person learn, to give them another chance. It is liking giving a person a second bullet to fire at you that they missed the first time. If a man was 90 and he committed murder, he is guaranteed to die in prison. Why let him die in prison, where he may be murdered, and die slowly much like his victim?
Another reason the death penalty isn't put in place, is because it is not "morale". I completely understand this however, in my past reasoning, why should groups like ISIS be able to BEHEAD people and children yet get a sentence? This makes no sense.
Rarely, a convict will serve their full sentence due to "Good Behaviour" or aiding/giving information to the police in another crime. Therefore, the death penalty should be put back into place because dangerous people should not be able to live on this planet, it is already dangerous.
