“But why, why, why can't people just say what they mean?”
This is a quote from a book that I agree with. We live in a generation where we just expect everyone else to understand us, even though we don't reach out. We believe it's their obligation that we are taken care of. We need someone to hold us up, but we can't even just simply ask. We ignore people and expect them to notice that we are not giving them attention and so talk to us. What is this? When someone asks if you're alright why can't we just straight up say no? Why is that so hard? Instead, we push them away. The worst part is that I'm guilty of this. What a hypocrite.
