Coming Out

It's been coming for a while, but now I'm pretty sure I'm bi. It used to be that I sort of didn't mind girls, but preferred guys. Now they're both more open to me. Today this girl I knew kissed me (not like we're in a relationship or anything - I wish! - she's just that kind of person) and it was weird because she didn't know I was bi.

I sort of want to tell my friends, but I know they'll make a big deal out of it, one of my best friends is bi and that seems to be her whole personality in their eyes. But what if I get a girlfriend and I have to tell them? They're not homophobic or anything, but they won't react positively. I also told them in the past that I was straight, and they'll think I was lying if I get a girlfriend now. Actually, I wasn't lying, because that was back when I wasn't sure, and they probably won't make as big a deal out of me lying as me being gay.

I am in love with a guy, who doesn't know yet but hopefully will soon (fingers crossed). He's really nice and accepting, but he's also Christian. Not saying that all Christians are homophobic, far from, but it might just be how he was brought up. Plus guys can feel threatened by that sort of thing (experience via my bi friend). It's just hard.
