I'm seriously debating self harming again. I haven't for a long time and it would cause problems, but I really want to.

Replyi know how you feel most days its not there but sometimes everything is going bad and you feel like your skin is cling wrap covering your body so tight that your trying to breath but you cant. your stuck and all you can think about while you suffer silently not breathing and watching everyone else taking deep breaths is that with a few cuts the suffocation will subside and slowly youll be calm and breathing once again
ReplyI understand how you're feeling. My wrists stung today, and I wanted to do something to them, but I managed not to. Try to distract yourself. Shower, take a nap, write your feelings down on paper, draw, write a story, etc. When I felt anxious during school once, I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote everything as hard as I could. It helped. Hopefully these methods also help you.
ReplyThis happens with me too, I can very much relate to you :) I don't know if we both cut because of the Same reason or not. But I do it to punish myself to get distracted from things that hurt me. It helps me but I think there are better ways than harming yourself like this :) talk to someone who might understand you or write down whatever you feel like, Or just close your eyes and try to meditate . I'm sure this all will help :) take care of yourself.
ReplyThis might sound weird but instead of picking up something sharp to cut with....pick up a pen. Not to write your feelings on paper but to draw ON yourself. The concentration it takes to make art on yourself really does help with the pain. This is literally the best trick I've learned to help deal. So next time... try to pick the pen. XO
