My father diagnosed with a lung cancer today. Doctors saying cancer was spreaded to nearby lymph nodes, So there is no way to operate and remove the cancer. He is 69 years old and still doing very well up to now.
First symptom shown a month ago when he found difficulties with Shortness of Breath. We admited him to the nearby hospital and the first Xray they took shows a massive Plural Effusion (Left lung Filled with water, So X-ray was white washed that side). Within 4 days Doctors removed 3.85 litters of water mixed with blood.
After the removing all the water we took a CT Scan on the Chest which revealed the Tumour already affected the nearby Lymph Nodes. Then Doctors did a Biopsy test to identify the cell type of that tumour and that Report came today, stating that is a Non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC Cancer).
A month ago he was here with us smiling and doing daily stuff. But now he was admitted to a Cancer Hospital in Maharagama,Sri Lanka. My family is devastated by this reason. My mother had depression 2 years ago and now she recovered but still under medications. I don't know how she will buy this crisis. This makes us all in deep sorrow and I dont know what will happen in the future.
