why is being alone compared to the coldest of winters? why is the sound of loneliness often associated with the cold crunch of winter soil?
why is it when we are supposed to be the prime source of our own happiness, that we feel being alone is cold?
shouldn't our company be like a warm, breezy summer day? shouldn't it echo across a beautiful meadow that no one else visits?
Shouldn't being alone be beautiful, warm and golden rather than dark, desolate and cold?
Can we not learn to be happy in our own haunting silence?

I'm so lonely. I feel hollow from apathy and I can't stop thinking, "How long until this is over?" For everything. A comment would be nice, I'd honest...
You can. But the base is, if you chose your on solitude or you were left to be alone. If you chose your own solitude, then there's not doubt that it is a happy existence. But if you were left to be alone all of sudden then work it out. Find new friends (genuine ones), slowly, very slowly. Find people of your frequency, people that share you kind of entertainment and joy. That will help, to change your existence from loneliness to blissful solitude.
