I want to be better physically, mentally and emotionally. I never have an issue making others feel good about themselves but when it comes to myself I come to a blank. I don't know I just let myself down..
Dislike my looks and the flaws I have. I dislike that within myself i have issues. Use to be so different and I lost my way. I miss who I use to be.
How can I love myself and be confident in myself when there seems to be so much that are flawed about me. Flaws within myself and my appearance.
How can I feel good about myself when people point out what's wrong and never have anything good to say about me.
Am I such a horrible person in everyway ?
I know I'm not perfect and i can suck sometimes. Is there absolutely nothing good about me?

for me, I started with taking good care of my hair and skin. My hair is thick and I have to condition it well or else it isnt soft. My skin is pretty good, and definitely softer now that I moisturize.
now I'm working on diet and exercise. I'm not fat but I'm heavier than I was so I'm trying to eat healthier and exercise more.
along with that, I'm studying to pass my boards. I know I'll feel better once I'm successful.
and I make sure that I'm keeping my living space straightened up so that I can relax comfortably.

ReplyI just do it best every day, one day at a time. I do the things I dont want to do first, like cleaning and studying, in the morning and then I use the things I like, like my personal care stuff, as rewards. And then I feel pretty good in the evening because everything's done and th hat makes me feel good.
ReplyOkay, thanks for sharing your advice. Seems easier said than done but maybe I'm not trying hard enough.
