I’ve just broke up with my partner of 2 years as I feel there was something missing from our relationship and our future just wasn’t there, we don’t work together anymore. I feel sad I still love him just not in the right ways. However I’ve realised that I’ve been straying from him, and developed feelings for someone’s I work with, it started as a flirt and now it’s come to pure tension and I know he’s feeling similar as he’s told me he thinks about me a lot and he really wants to kiss me and stuff but he cant because he is trapped in a relationship with children and doesn’t want wang to loose them she will stop him seeing them if he leaves(which he’s told me) and he’s said it’s different between me and him, I’ve never felt such a connection with someone and he’s said the same, it’s so difficult because we both want something more but I don’t want to be made out to be a home wrecker or anything I just really feel for him and idk what to do?

Depressed
I just want to tell you one thing Your not alone This is what I dream Dead inside my skin I thought that I could mend the pain By turning it all black and...
You were right to end it.
ReplyYou probably felt that too with your 2 year partner...when you guys were just starting.
Replyhe has a wife and family. why would you want to be the reason a father no longer lives with his children and there mother. find someone that doesn't have anything to lose. but just pretend you were his kids would you want your father leaving your mother so he can be with someone he met at the office? not to be rude but you don't want to fall for him.
ReplySounds like you didn't really love the former partner. Love isn't selfish and it is respectful, aka if you respected the relationship you would not have flirted with the new guy. Same goes for him. This is likely lost and not love. But, you did the right thing to end it. When you understand that love takes work, respect and is not selfish...and you find a partner who thinks te same way, you will have a lasting relationship.
