my life is getting so tough ( i mean thats the reason why we all are here) but i am just so done with school. I know everyone goes through this but idk. I am 16 years old and i just wish i could go back to when i was 9. I am not doing well in school , seriously failing in subjects in whig i could've passed with flying colours but thats just not how it is for me.My parents are trying to be supportive but i feel like i am wasting there money. i will sit and open a book for hours but nothing would go in my head. I will keep on reading and reading but i don't understand anything. And its not like i am on my phone because i don't have social media at all. and to add my body in to the picture , i don't like how i look , i am not obese but my build is different. Girls in my grade are having the time of there lives but i just can't seem to get there. I try to be the happy girl for my parents but inside i am the opposite. My parents have a lot of expectations from me and my sisters, and i want my parents to be proud of me, of what i have become but that right now seems impossible.

Just sad...
Every night I go to bed crying. It’s been like that for 2 months. The stress from school makes it so difficult, I barley get sleep at night. I have been feeli...
Hey, everyone's life gets tough from time to time. It's okay (: 16 years old? You are still so young! There's literally like at least 80 years ahead of you, assuming health advancements and technology keep improving in the future. School work and smarts don't mean everything. Other things in this life matter like kindness, support, caring, sharing, loving, believe it or not having fun, and OTHER stuff! :D also do not feel like you're wasting your parents' money, cuz it is being put to good use. Even at that, I would normally say that "you're just trying to find yourself right now" but that kinda talk is more for college kids and the young adults ages 19 and up. But you, you're a teen! Teens act stupid and mess around because they technically still can.. atleast that's what I did, I'm not gunu lie lol but basically just don't go feeling so serious yet. You're trying, right? You are at least trying really hard to get better grades and do more of your work? Well that says something already if you are! ((: Effort is important, and I'm proud to hear that you're doing that.
But also of it still bothers you, I have tips on doing better: you can't learn any subject if you are bored with it. You have to actually WANT to learn, so find out how to make the work fun. It's a fact that we don't learn new things unless we're actually interested in them so just think about that one. Another thing, if you force yourself to work on something for too long, you'll just get tired and never wanna do it. Still you should force yourself to atleast try to START them, but also make sure to take breaks when necessary. Again though, knowledge isn't everything. We all go at our own pace in life, sometimes literally. So if you have to go slowly and steadily to read one sentence at a time, maybe even more than once, then so be it. That's fine, there is no rush, no competition. That being said, STOP comparing yourself to others. It will really mess you up, I say that in general and for the sake of your psychological health. You just do YOU and don't worry about no one else. I'm sure you are absolutely beautiful, but don't listen to what anyone says about you. You have to learn to love YOURSELF before anyone else gets to love you <3 Find your own true worth first. And lastly, I am also quite sure that you're parents ARE proud of you already, for that's what parents should be for; supporting us, caring for us, and accepting us unconditionally. Good luck, I hope this helps! ^-^
ReplyCompletely agree with you..
ReplyI agree with you. I'm facing some of these issues. This winght just help.
ReplyIts okay. I understand you. I'm 15. If you wanna talk it out, I'm here. Dont worry. Now that you've realised this, you'll go good. You have supporting parents. Find ways in life to be happy dear, there's a lot.
I know you'll do good:)
Talk it out if you want to
Replyim the exact same way. im actually starting online school next semester. i would look into it if i were you or maybe do some classes online and some in school. even AP classes are much easier online
ReplyI feel just like this. I would begin by asking when did all of the pressure feel like too much? Was it a year ago? Two months ago? Etc. I'm proud you at least are willing to try to change what is going on. I just sort of add the pressure to my bag of things I panic over and trudge along.
