Maybe it's because we had no closure

I hope you drowned your demons

I hope the scars on your wrist are fading

I hope your mom is healthy and you guys get along better than you did

I just hope you are living a fulfilled and meaningful life

I still think about you sometimes

Even though I know if I saw you

You'd be just another stranger I barely recognize
