My favorite hobby has to be reading or writing. Most people relate to them, but for me, they are very different in the way they make me feel. Reading offers an escape, as many call it, a way to experience someone else's struggle or joy even if it is similar to your own. Writing, however, is a way for me to get my feelings out, to ground them in the soil. Keeping a journal is like tending to those feelings, making sure they don't grow jagged.
