My Unsent Letter

I’ll learn to live with your memory, while not having your presence. Remembering the love you gave only makes it harder to move on, closed myself off from the world so I could become strong.

Opened myself up, gave my heart to you, now that has become something I refuse to do.

Now it seems I’m waiting for the moment I can say I’ve let you go, without having to let you know. Because when I let you know it makes it real, then I’ll have closed myself off from the only love I feel.
