So today is the 12th of January and I'm due on my period (aka, withdrawal bleed for me. side note, sorry this might be all TMI). I've been using birth control since around october/november now and I've had no issues up until now. I normally get my period on the same exact day pretty much every month, but today I've had no sign of my period whatsoever and I'm getting extremely worried. I've been taking all my pills correctly mostly on the dot but there were some off times (maybe 2-3 times?) where I would be a few minutes early or late, and once I was half an hour late. I've read that apparently it doesn't really matter if it's too late as long as it's within the three-hour window (however apparently it also doesn't exactly matter too much as long as I take one a day as I'm on the combined pill and not the mini-pill) but I'm starting to be extremely worried as I had horrible cramping yesterday in the evening and now they've just disappeared completely. I'm worried I may be pregnant even though the chances are SUPER SLIM as I've been taking them around roughly the exact or same time each day. Does anyone have any advice?

did you forget to take your sugar pills? because if you're on the combination pill and forget to do that, you're not gonna bleed.
Sugar pills are only for the mini-pill I think? Each combination pill packet I have (each strip) has only 21 tablets and I'm supposed to have a break from the pills before I start my next pack.
Replyahh, i see. i still don't think it's worth worrying about, at least not so soon. i mean, if you wanna check in with your doc, it probably wouldn't hurt
ReplyHave you had sexual intercourse or not while taking contraception?
ReplyDo not feel the need to apologise for mentioning menstruation. It's a normal female biological bodily function.
