I work as a BDC Coordinator for a dealership. Basically I schedule appointments for service amongst hundreds of other calls I make out -not in my jobs description btw. Anyways I’m here to vent so this may have multiple parts along the way. Just now I had a client call in asking for his advisor. I said to please hold while I see if he is at his desk. I called - no answer. We don’t have pagers, let me get this out there. Luxury vehicles do not always have luxury services. I believe you they should! But they don’t always. I can’t change that. But, we have a walkie. Yes that little device that sounds like static most of the time and it’s a 50/50 chance we get an answer. So when I get back to this call to either send the client over to his advisors voicemail or send an email, this client, has the audacity to say “I thought that’s what you were going to do anyways..” Ex-Fucking-cuse me?! When from the start of this call where I say thanks for calling to you being on a 30 sec hold did you tell me you wanted a message left???? And then when I said okay may I please have a contact number to send, you sigh and say just send me to his voicemail... I asked you a two option question, don’t expect me to know magically what fucking option you want. I’m not David Blane! Be patient and kind to the messenger. Some people weren’t respectful to their parents when they were young and it shows.
