I’ve been working since I was 13 and gave all my money to my mother because it was “contributing” to the family...I’m 19 now, graduated high school 2 years ago but not eligible for college because I focused more on supporting my family than my studies. My mother still ask for me to contribute to the family and takes 3/4 of my pay. I’m still working retail(for a different company) but now have the opportunity to achieve a better position, but I get discouraged because I want to study properly but no one is able to support me but myself. I’m lost with myself...
