How do you deal with depression? It's getting difficult to cope for me.

Try different things. Don't give up.

Depression can be really hard to cope up with, to get freedom from depressed thoughts, to take the first step .. it's always difficult... I knw.
But nothing is impossible... Nothing is more important than ur mental health.. nothing's more important than YOU and your LIFE...
Since it's all difficult... I suggest you to take help of ur parents.. or maybe ur friends. Or literally anyone whom u are close to. Take steps to put depressed thoughts out of your mind.... Go for a walk, get up and dance to your favourite music, treat urself with ur favourite food... Get a pet, play a game, watch a movie, read a book ... Take a break frm routine..... All these can really help ...like... They REALLY help..!!!!.
U jus have to avoid all the thoughts that make u depressed...
U knw what.., people ... They aren't always bad.... If u think so. They are willing to help.. but they won't be able to if u don't tell them what's wrong.... I knw, u might have been having a hard time figuring out what's actually wrong. And might not be able to tell people.. but u gotta try... U have to...
Stay connected... With people who make u feel important , safe and care for you.... Plzzzz stay away frm manipulative people... Frm negative people.. cause they give out nothing but negative thoughts.... Which effect your thoughts too... Stay away frm them... Stay away frm people who put u down, who don't deserve you.....Don't get disconnected frm people... Maybe if be real life, of social media...
Don't give up on social activities... Even if u feel like... It helps a lot
Try joining a support group..
Do more of things that touch your soul... Do things u love..(or used to)
Try engaging in some volunteering...
TAKE ENOUGH SLEEP... plzz...
You don't have to get tensed for everything...take things lightly...
Don't make negative conclusion abt situations...
Don't think low of urself... Don't ever think u don't matter... U DO. U DO MATTER ....U ARE NOT A LOSER... U ARE BEAUTIFUL....
U shud see a doctor... he can help u out in less time and in a better way
I don't knw if u are ever going to read this and if this is ever going to be useful.... But . Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz don't think abt suicide... There are always other solutions... Plzz

ReplyI try to write as much as I can, and take care of the small things. I write things I like about the day. I take care of the things that can upset me when I have a particularly bad episode, like if I haven’t cleaned something I could’ve or if I could’ve washed something. I try not to linger on what ifs though. I try to surround myself with people and art that uplifts me
ReplyWe are ever changing and that’s important for me to remember. But I’ve found professional help to be best
