So very confused
Hey. So, I wrote this post for a very specific person. I also asked that person to come here and read it and help me out. If that person has found it, congra...
You got this!! The first time I got a blood test done I was so nervous! It really is not as bad as it seems though. Some things that helped me were taking deep breaths and not looking at the needle. Also make sure you eat a good breakfast that day if they said you can! Good luck!!!
ReplyLook away when they draw blood
ReplyYou shouldn't be scared and something my mom taught me was to look away so when they put the needle in you won't know :3 helped me many times :D
ReplyI have blood tests all of the time. I even told the doctor she should just have a huge bottle of my blood to keep to test whenever she feels like it! My advice is don't look at what is happening and to take your mind off it talk to the person who is doing the test about something else that is going on in your life, or something you have watched on TV.
ReplyStay calm, you are working yourself up to the point of panic before anything even happens. When I was pregnant they used to draw blood every week or two, I would take a deep breath and repeat in my head, "It doesn't hurt. It doesn't hurt." over and over again. It really isn't that bad, like a quick pinch, once the needle is in it really just feels a little uncomfortable rather than painful. In my opinion most splinters are worse than having blood drawn. Good luck
