On this day, we Americans look back on an event that happened nearly 20 years ago. A moment that torn our nation apart, tore families apart and yet in the heat of the moment we all stood as one.
We would not be broken, we would not be defeated and those who lost their lives would not die in vain. We still look back on those images, the twin towers billowing black smoke into the sky why terrified people saw no better option than to jump.
Jumping wasn't the easier solution, they still feared it just as any of us would. But the fear of burning alive was greater and so they chose to take their fate into their own hands.
Today we remember those who died, those heroes who fought to save as many as possible and fowe remember our American spirit which has always found us on equal footing with one another.
A simple, empathetic understanding of just how fragile life truly is. Bound from the smoke of chaos and the fires of terrorism. We remember and we will never forget.

And may the facts and justice prevail over evil always...irrespective of the "truth".
And for those who might have manipulated facts to present their version of the truth and keep us all in the dark:
Romans 12:19
....“Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
ReplyThat is a very truthful verse. The Lord will take us up in his arms and care for us. He will have what he sees fit.
ReplyYou are right. We should never forget those many people who perished that day 20 years ago. Many children awaited their parent's arrival after a long day of work, but they never saw them again. They never walked through the door. It was unfair and unjust and we need to remember them and keep our country strong in their memory.
