I have know idea where to write this, so i looked up a site to write your feelings. I then came across this. I need a place to write down what I am feeling. I feel very sad today. It hasn't been just today, though, I haven't felt like myself in about four years now. I also haven't been truely happy in years. I mean ofcourse there were days where I smiled and had fun. But real happiness is what I miss. I am having a hard time with family right now. People advise to talk to them about it. The problem is that i KNOW they will not take me seriously. They don't believe in mental illness. They have made that very clear when I told them I think I have social anxiety, or when a mental ilness is portait on TV. I am scared that I will never feel happy again. And if that's true, then why keep going?

If you worry about your mental health, it might be worth discussing it with a professional. Treating the body (rest, hydration, nutrition, mental and physical activity) is a good start, then studying your environment and how you relate to it. I use a method on off days called "Empathy mirroring" when I feel depressed, just like how a blanket insulates warmth, I reinforce the positive experiences with others; it helps me "Warm up" as well. "Psychology Today" is a great resource for self improvement and working with others in varying experiences in life. You got this, take each day as it comes, no hurry, and know we love you *hug*
