I think I met my soulmate...on Omegle

Welp...about one week ago, I was bored and my friends wouldn't text me back (everything is cool, they were just busy and it was late) so I decided that I would go on Omegle.

Chat mode, not video. I have done that before, I even found nice people to talk to....but I usually forgot about them the next day/s.

I always hoped, I would find older people to chat with, because they are more mature (I'm talking +22 here) and usually you could talk to them about other stuff I was interested in (books, politics ect... not saying you can't do that with people your own age).

But to get to the point:

I met this man. Let's call him Carter. He was 30 and I immediately felt a connection.

He knew that I was underage and he never crossed the line or wrote something inappropriate.

It makes me so happy just thinking about our conversation, even though I know he was just bored and lonely as well, I think this didn't mean as much to him as it does to me.

Well, we talked about everything (even god!) and then sadly I had to go to sleep.

He was so polite and nice and funny and you reading this will probably roll your eyes and think there are other people that have these qualities as well.

Well I can't stop thinking about him and our conversation...am I being weird?

I honestly don't even know why I wrote all of this here, I guess I just don't have somebody to tell this to thihih :P
