I’ve always loved food and have had a great relationship with food and had a good appetite but in the last couple weeks I have been feeling super sick/anxious at the thought of eating anything and it feels like my body is rejecting the idea of eating even though I know I’m hungry and I want to eat really bad!!
Has anyone else gone through this and able to give me some help or advice because I’m starting to get scared and my mom is noticing too that I’m not eating as much!!

ReplyI’ve been eating smaller portions and barely touching them, I think because my mom is noticing too I’m kind of eating so she can see but also because I’m scared how I’ll be if I don’t eat anything at all, I have low blood pressure as it is so I’m prone to fainting and I also don’t want my parents to worry but it’s freaking me out a little now especially because I’ve never had any issues with food at all in the past and it’s come out of nowhere.
ReplyOkay, sometimes the food we love the most Is the food we sometimes go off, I mean I used to love chocolate but now that dosent even taste the same my suggestion to you is, talk to a doctor keep a log of things you are eating even if they are small portioIns..
As much as they say don't force feed yourself sometimes there isn't that other option, if you stare yourself you can cause anemia weight loss and even mean you seeking hospital treatment which no one wants I have been in this same situation a few times, I used to snack on sausage rolls and little things and I got really poorly...
If you would like me to help any further then just let me know and I will go into more detail for you.
ReplyAlso parents are bound to worry its in their nature as parents but they could also be people you can talk to about this ongoing issue and see if they can help/advise.
Another thing that helped me was keeping a food journal and watching my progress throughout 3/4 weeks and also logging weight gain and loss and then after that if it doesn't help and things don't change I would defiantly insist on seeing a GP or other professional.
ReplyI think I’ll try those things actually thank you so much!! I didn’t want to say anything to my parents yet just in case it’s just been a bad week or something but if it keeps going I’ll 100% talk to them about it! Thank you so so much you’re a gem I really appreciate it, hope you have a great day! X

ReplyMe too when it's time to eat I don't want to eat at all the only thing I want to eat is ice cream or soda, and nothing else. I really don't want to eat, but my mom makes me and when I realize the food tastes good I start eating more but it happens every time, I don't want to eat anything for some reason...I think we have a similar situation?
