What has happened
To the happy girl we all knew
To the excitement everyday before school
To the straight A student I once was
What has happened
To the endless laughter in my heart
To the peace and enjoyment in my mind
To the smile that never left my face
What has happened
To school
The classes i once aced have turned into a struggle
The work i once did to learn
The work i did out of passion
The work that has now become a burden
More than a burden actually
Stress
Work has become stress
School has become prison
Prison for my mind
Prison for my happiness
School used to be an escape
From stress
It used to be a place for fun,
For memories
Now,
School is stress
School is bad
School is ruining the girl i used to know
The girl who would jump in excitement over a new project
The girl who would smile constantly over a good grade
The girl who would run to classes out of desire to see teachers and classmates
Now all that girl wonders is
What has happened

I don't use slang much, but I must say this, I feel ya girl, I feel ya.
I could've written that poem. Seriously.
But, it is more past than present for me now.
So, as I did, you will definitely turn back into the straight-A's girl again!
Don't worry.
As school progresses and we get into higher grades, the stress increases.
The key is to keep calm.
Remind yourself each time you start getting stressed that nothing stops the world, even a project submitted ten days after deadline!
