Hello. I'm a 20-year-old male, turning 21 tomorrow. But this will not be a birthday of celebration, I'm thinking. Me and my parents haven't gotten along these last 10 years because I made bad choices whenever I watched over my siblings while they were gone... I hurt them a lot. Perhaps it was me learning from my parents by example because they did the same to me when I was younger, but that coin holds no value to my parents.
Anyway, due to something my mother said recently, I decided to write a letter to finally express how I have felt for years. After pondering the details for days, I decided that giving it to her with a box of her favorite candy on my birthday would be the best idea. However, for the last three days, I have been second guessing this idea. My mother has always responded childishly and hypocritically. First she shows us love then spits in our faces. While I am very grateful for all the work she has done to provide for us, that work does not justify her belittling us and driving us to attempted suicide, which I tried. Should I give it to her?
I'll be deleting this post after my birthday so that no one suspects anything, so please respond before then. This could either change my family's behavior, or get me kicked out of the house.

Does anyone knows what should I do with my hair?
When I was young, my hair is sooo straight and everyone loves that about me but unfortunately, it had started to get curly. I know curly hair is not unattractiv...
It's totally left to you coz at the end of the day YOU are the one who's gonna send it , but I do wanna ask that.. would you ever regret not sending the letter?? If yes then there's your answer,,
And Happy birthday in advance! I hope you figure things out :)
ReplyThere will be a lot of what ifs if you don't send the letter. You're not doing something bad so you can say that at least you tried. If she reacts in a bad way, that's on her. BTW, I don't think you can delete posts, can you?
ReplyThanks for the reassurance.
You can delete posts, I have done it multiple time.
