TW: I've never shared my poetry before. I write to deal with my trauma. I always wish I could share my poetry, but didn't want people to see me differently. So anonymously, here we go. I don't know how else to work through my trauma other than write about my pain.
I still feel the pain.
I still feel the pain of your hands. I still feel the pain of you grasping my neck. I still feel the pain of you slamming my head against the wall.
I still feel the pain.
I still feel the pain of trying to stop the bleeding. I still feel the pain of screaming, no please don't do this to me.
I still feel the pain. I hope this haunts you like it haunts me.

Broken from the Beginning
TRIGGER WARNING. THE FOLLOWING STORY IS TRUE AND CONTAINS EXPLICIT DETAILS OF CHILD ABUSE. WRITTEN FROM THE MIND OF THE WOMAN WHO ONCE WAS THIS BROKEN CHILD....
I'm sorry you felt so much. It's sad. This poetry screams the horror no one wished their enemy would have. But you know what makes you unique? You're strong and you've known many deep dark things about humanity because you've been there. I wish I could give you the care , affection and love you deserve. You're stronger than you think and tougher than anyone else. God bless you
Replyexperiences like this live within your skin and shed trauma... you have my heart. I could never imagine the pain that you went through and are continuing to go through... I realize the last thing you probably want is pity, but I just want you to know that I commend you for sharing this, as it was probably very hard for you. keep your head up. you are being heard, love:)
