this is a poem i wrote about missing my home. Tell me if you relate to this for a person, item or place. For me it is London since we moved countries :(
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
who knew i would still be searching,
searching for a home,
even while i have two,
there's something,
something missing,
i looked for comfort in these grey walls,
but they reflect my sorrow back at me,
and the train in my head,
stopped back at you,
you were my home,
and i realize this after ive lost you,
the photographs give me papercuts so deep,
blood so bittersweet,
but i need to overcome the pain,
or else,
i might forget about the home i loved,
the fog in my head scares me,
those precious moments become unclear,
grey clouds in my mind,
struggling to breathe from the pollution,
i make this oath to myself,
ill hold on to every memory i can,
i promise,
but what if,
what if one day,
i no longer remember what made you special,
that day terrifies me,
how do i go back to you,
how do i keep you in my head forever,
how do i hold on to you?

It's all my fault
I have been lashing out at myself and at others. I take another drink, thinking it will help, but to no avail. All it does is just make things worse. How did it...

Finding Hope
Is this what it feels like? To be lonely? And though I'm not afraid to know it wont be the same without you. And now I'm far from home and I'm not sure...
beautiful
ReplyI think you should let London go and embrace where you are now. London will never go away so make the best of where you are today.
ReplyIt's very beautiful :')
