I often see uncomfortably vivid and realistic dreams about the Holocaust or some other extremely messed up stuff like murdering and seeing people tortured or the world being destroyed in various ways and it has left me traumatized quite many times. Can I make these go away somehow? I get over them but I can’t understand where I get these from

Do you watch horror or gore movies
Or ... umm are you a sadist ?
ReplyWe watch documentaries during our history lessons but I don’t like horror or gore movies. The documentaries aren’t necessarily graphic but I don’t understand where I get such vivid imagery from
ReplyI had vivid night terrors growing up, now I attack the dreams or shape them. Studying your fears may give you better insight on the matter. I once dreamed I was with a batallion that liberated a camp, people had been experimented on from studies of cybernetics and bio-enhancements. The people were in good spirits despite what they faced. I asked them about their lives, one was a taxi driver before being brought there. Each of them had varying levels of augmentation done on them, but still recognized one another. Each of them remembered their alpha-numeric designations, and two of them had a tearful reunion when one test subject thought the other did not make it through the proceedure. In an intensely scary dream, I was being attacked by something, I subdued it, then it settled. The dream reflects how you respond to it, and it can listen to you. Take each day as it arrives, and know we love you.
ReplyTry listening to something relaxing before you go to sleep, practice meditation, try to generally be in as calm of a mood as possible all day. Take a bath before you go to bed or play classical music as you fall asleep. Try it out and I hope this helps!!
