put it this way:
there's a guy with an old toyota car who sees someone with a tesla, "wow imagine if i had that, i could sleep and get to my destination. i wouldn't have this lame piece of junk. i wish i had that cool car."
there's a guy with a bike. they see the toyota and think, "wow if only i had a car instead of this lame bike. i wouldn't be sore all the time. it would get me to places faster, etc etc."
there's a guy walking. "ugh walking is so slow and hard. if i had a bike, life would be so much better. i'm so tired."
there's a man in a wheelchair. "if only i had legs, then, i'd be happy."
there's always something we want. something that we think will make our life better, ourselves happier and content. we always want more more more. being ambitious and hopeful is great! but manage it.
be content. if you become genuinely thankful for what you have right now and stop chasing things or people you don't have, life will be much brighter for you.

Well said, reminds me of the man who was a candidate for transplanting his head to a new body. Before the surgery's scheduled time, he had started a business, married a wonderful woman, so he turned down the operation. Even though he could not walk, and his arms were not in the most optimal functioning position, he was pleased with his life. Good things can be found even in the seemingly hardest places
