Ok, my report wasn't even posted. So now I gotta write it again, yay.
I've been keeping an eye on my sprouts. Studies suggest that singing to plants helps them grow, so I've been singing to them for about 15 minutes a day. Usually just tunes I grew up with, a bit of upbeat stuff and what have you.
I recently got new photos from Perserverance. We got our first look at how clouds act here on Mars, which is fairly similar to cirrus clouds back on earth. A couple of the photos drew my attention, one was a rock that almost looked like the head of a warthog and the other looked like a full bodied penguin, flappy arms and everything!
I also received photos of Phobos from Curiosity and Ingenuity is getting ready for it's first flight as well. I wonder if it'll get up high enough to see my habitat? Could you imagine the red faces at NASA?! lol!
Everything is picking up rather rapidly as i expected. Which helps keep my kind off more personal things. Yet still, I still miss her every night I lay my head down and I know she is missing me.
My comms will be updating for about 12 hours, so I'll be in the dark for a little while but it won't be bad. These little sprouts give me a sense of company. Actually, it honestly gives me a sense of motherhood which is kind of weird.
For Mars One, this is Captain Johnson, signing off.
Personal note: to my one reader, I greatly appreciate your enthusiasm for my entries. It is very heartwarming and on a planet that can get to -70°C, that's saying a lot! Virtual space hugs🤗👩🚀
