Workload at uni is killing me and I am uncertain about everything. I'm questioning all of my choices. Maybe I should've picked a different school, maybe I should've picked a different program. Everything seems really difficult so I can't really focus and know where to start. And meanwhile I wanna do other things like work on my creative writing and stuff but honestly I don't know what I want anymore. And I'm insecure and tired and depressed. So yeah, that's that on that. Any advice anyone? Thanks

A mind of an overthinker who cant do anything but overthink
I just asked a girl for her number and I cant seem to forget how my hands were shaking so bad that I messed up a couple of messages because of typos...she agree...
I think if it seems like too much pressure you should take a tiny break. Think about it. Plan And then go on. It might help.
ReplyTry looking at where you are now and what you want to achieve by tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year and so on. And then you just plan it out. What you have to do and when you can rest, do what you like and some othe free time. Because if we do it spontaneously, we are likely to spend too much time on just one thing and it makes you unable to do other stuffs. And because you were unable to do other stuffs, you push back your schedule and closing in with the deadline of things. While you rush things to get it within the deadline, you will feel tired and unable to do things that you want/like because you are too tired.
Try making plans and some schedules. Or maybe just try spending a day just looking at what you are doing right now so that you can have a bigger perspective and dont get lost, this will help you do things faster and have lots of free time in the end.
Good luck! And dont regret things that is already in the past, nothing you can do about it, and also dont do things you will regret in the future! :D I wish you hapiness and joy
ReplyAs someone who have had similar situation with college I can only say that the time I endured that period of hell resulting me having a ptsd (not by professional diagnosed) it’s been almost 4 years of me graduating from college and I haven’t got a job cause I fear that I might be in the same situation as before in college.
So I can only advice that there 2 things you can do. Quit it or suck it up. You also need to be aware that your choices can affect people around you even by tiny bit. My case was I decided to suck it up, cause my family is not rich, I can’t just quit because my mom worked really hard for my college fund. So if you’re from more fortunate family than me, go do things you love, don’t waste your youth hating the days. Also back then one of my friend said that in college there will be days when you feel everything is making you question your choices, so it might be just a phase.
Hope you can resolve your problem, sorry I can’t help enough even I still struggle after college :’)
ReplyI’ve read some sayings somewhere before it goes “if you’re struggling means that you making a progress” so maybe you can take a rest, although I know UNI can’t just wait for you around. But you need to know your struggle will make you stronger for the future. Heads up!
