I am a 13 year old girl. Im struggling with body image and self confidence. I have extreme mood swings and I’m always angry or sad. I weigh myself 5-20 times a day from the point I’m waking up. I don’t eat anything before dinner, and drink water until I almost passing out. I’m not underweight, but I really want to loose weight😕 but I eat unhealthy when I first eat. But I’m strict to myself and train after I’ve been eating.

A letter I’ll never send
I hate that I feel this way inside each and every day . My mind spinning , with new thoughts of how I could be stabbed in the back , taken down a painful memory...
Eat meat. Its all protein. You'll feel better and be able to put some muscle on
ReplyAs a 13 year old, I think you should not be that conscious with your body. As long as you're eating healthy, physically active and in the right amount of weight, it's fine. You're still a growing girl. You need nutrition.
ReplyIm doing gymnastics 6 days a week 16 hours... :/
Replyone day, you will look back at your younger self and wonder why you ever worried so much about how you looked because you were already so beautiful the way you were. Don’t worry about your weight. If you want to be healthy, eat balanced meals, drink water, exercise a little bit, and you’ll be fine. As for confidence, wear clothes that you feel comfortable in! Take dumb pictures of yourself! Put your hands on your hips and tell yourself in the mirror “I love you!” (And seriously love, please don’t worry about your weight. It’s not worth it. live and enjoy life while you’re young!)
ReplyThe first thing to do should be to tell a professional about this, it sounds to me like anorexic but I'm not a doctor. Also don't be too hard on yourself, this world's got a whole lot of people who are like you, I was too but you can get through this, just speak to a professional first
