The kind of pain
That peacefully rages within.
Clamouring in the silence,
Without uttering a word.
Contributing its own essence
To the stillness of the moment.
The kind of pain
That thunders through you,
A slow growl
Of a solitary storm.
Not a shattering earthquake
But a deafening, paralysing
Scream
Of the tempest inside.
-- There’s two types of crying I think, two (and more) types of pain: there’s the type that is just so overwhelming you bawl, it’s a steady stream of tears and emotionality and pain. But then there’s the tears that won’t come, the pain that almost makes your heart stop. The kind that makes you hold your breath, that renders you incapable of breathing. It’s like you can feel it in your heart. When the emotions are so overwhelming your not bawling, but you can’t breathe and your heart is unsteady. The tears fall in slow patterns, because the real riot is on the inside. But you also feel peaceful, in some weird way. It’s the kind of pain that is unbearable but the most... freeing.
- That’s how I cried tonight, Snd I just felt the need to note the difference.
