It’s getting way too annoying
I’m so annoyed every time my bf and I leave for vacation or just leave to go to work my sister and brother in law invade our room and touch/take our things! I...
True
ReplyLOL okay yes and no. As much as I disagree with racists, I still think their lives are important. People usually do the best they can with the information they have. Some people are just misguided. Usually by their parents, who instilled improper traits in them, so then they become racist and refuse to do research or even just listen to other people. All people with beliefs that go against common sense and science are just misguided people.
I’d say it’s our job as people who know better to patiently but forcefully help them see what’s wrong with their opinion but honestly that’s up to you.
And I’d like to end with this quote lol: “don’t treat people as bad as they are; treat them as good as you are”
ReplyAnybody's heart can change. So yes they do. If your parents friends and family were all racist would you still say that?
Replyyes.
Replyi would still say this.
ReplyEveryone is racist.
Study the Rwandan massacre of 1994.
Study the caste system of India.
However, just because we are all racists does not give anyone the right to oppress the group we dislike... as in slavery, Jim Crow laws, redlining, voter suppression, gerrymandering, forced segregation (apartheid). Yet - these tactics or similar tactics happen all around the world everyday.. NOT just in USA.
And - it is a misunderstanding that the lighter groups are always racist against the darker groups. This is not true. The darker groups are equally as racist against the lighter groups. And the darker groups use their own tactics to "oppress" the lighter groups, especially in the USA.
Burning, looting and mayhem, taking over social spots, driving around with obnoxious loud "music" that no one cares to listen to other than the driver yet we're all forced to hear that trash, invading people's neighborhoods every weekend because one of your own setup shop there.
Bottom line - we don't have to like your culture - doesn't mean we're racist.. we just don't like your culture. It is what it is, don't judge me, just sayin'.
