Since the beginning of the pandemic, my job has become remote. My coworker STILL calls out sick, comes in late or leaves early at least twice a week. How is that even possible? Well, when someone drinks like a fish, every. single. day. I guess having a hangover makes it hard to work? I get paid for my job but end up doing both jobs. Sick of this. Hope that drunk gets help or dies. I am over this.

Oh, did I mention that I worked with COVID? I missed one day of work with COVID. I don't want to hear her bullshit. I don't want to hear my boss make excuses for her either. Need to find another job.

I had a job like this at a place that employed carers and domestic aids to help elderly people stay in their own homes. The woman who organized these workers was often away for some reason so I would do her job as well as my own. I was the receptionist. But I enjoyed doing her job as well as my own so it worked out good for me. The only thing wrong was that I only had certificate 3, and for her job I should have certificate 4 as well. Oh well, the boss didn't care as long as the jobs got done.
