So I’m feeling drained and anxious whenever I see notifications from someone or from my friends. The app I used for messaging needs wifi so basically I get nervous turning on my wifi and see messages from them. I don’t know why but our friendship has gone toxic and I feel emotionally drained whenever we have fights or misunderstandings. I really want to escape from them and take a break but I’m scared because we’ve been friends for years now and that they will probably feel hurt. Now we are fighting again and I haven’t messaged yet because I don’t know what to do. I feel like I’ll just add up more problems and I don’t want that. I really just wanna delete the app and just focus on myself right now but I don’t know how to tell them, plus I’m the person they least expected, to leave in the group chat cuz I never left in that gc for years. I really love them but I just don’t feel the same anymore towards them. I tried to understand their problems but I just think it’s too much already. I don’t know if they’re toxic or I’m the problem here or I’m just a bad friend, I just really miss the old them.

Zjz I feel you I am kind of in the same situation as you. Even I haven't replied to their text. They think I cut them off but I haven't it's just that I don't talk to them a lot these days I send one or two messages per day. Idk it's exhausting but I guess ignore them for the time being. Reply to their text only when you feel like it. You deserve a break.
ReplyPeople change and this group has become stale so have a break and then make new friends. Ones you won't have arguments with.
