... and I'm not one of them.
My sis gets so much attention. She always gets away with whatever she wants. Mom and dad will make me pay for my mistakes but the ones she makes are completely ignored. Why does there have 2 be favorites in my fam? Why can't my parents see how depressed I am? Why do I always have to spell it out for them?
I wish I knew if they cared or if it's just their nature to be oblivious.

That is not true, love. They do love you. They love you so much. But they just don't show that. You feel that your sister gets more attention but on the contrary, you sister would feel that you get more attention than her. Try to put yourself in others shoes. I also felt that my sister gets more attention. But as I grew up I realized that it's just the way of our thinking. Remember parents don't show partiality. Every children of them is equally precious to them. If you feel something tell you parents you feel that way. I'm sure they'll understand. Don't worry honey. Have a nice day filled with positivity. :)
ReplyYes ofc they love me. But they really do like her better. She even knows it and has told me so. They do not treat us equally, if I know anything it is that fact. It is not my imagination. I've already told my dad how I feel he likes her better but he had nothing to say. He's now a lot more equal, but mom's the same and I can't talk to her. She'll tell me the same thing u just told me... Parents don't love kids unequally. I love you.
It's not a question of love. It's a question of favoritism. They treat her better, let her get away with mistakes. Don't tell me I'm imagining it.
