LMAO (Maybe I'm getting over one of my insecurities)
I'm probably going to be 5'5-5'7 when I stop growing (I'm a teen girl btw). I'm kinda insecure about that. But then I realized there are women at 5'10 or 6'1 wh...
Oh boy, I relate to this BIG TIME. I’m not a huge fan of my round face either :(
Well, while I’m not still completely confident about it, here’s how I cope:
I remember the fact that I look a hell of a lot like my relatives, and other people of my nationality/ethnicity/whatever it is. (I’m really bad with those words—one of them might mean what I mean? Idk.) Basically, like my ancestors, I guess?
But, my point is, some cultures kinda eliminate respect/exposure of people of a certain origin. Like, they don’t represent certain features of that origin. Which is bullshit. That’s been my experience as an American anyway, lol. They just show them chiseled af cheekbones and shit, and never anyone with a rounded face :/
I have a similar face to my dad. I never look at him and think it looks bad on him. In fact, I am not at all ashamed to look like him. So that’s how I remind myself: having a feature that isn’t as “desired” or “represented” as much in popular culture doesn’t mean it’s bad.
I’m sure you’ve heard this before: But everyone’s unique. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if anyone tries to tell you that you’re unattractive, screw them. Be confident in yourself!
Also I’ve heard that round faces are supposedly cute, but I wouldn’t know lmao.
From one round-faced person to another, you’ve got this <3
Replyhey, round face is cute, however, if you want some definition to your face, you can try this thing called 'mewing'. Its basically a technique (done naturally) to gain facial aesthetics, good posture and right breathing. You basically just have to correct the posture of your tongue which in turn will give definition your face. You can google it, theres tons of videos on it. However, I'll share a few links with which you can get started.
