Before Covid-19, I struggle to find a suitable partner to date. Some ask me if I have a good income, a fancy luxury car, a height over 6ft tall, and have a large house. In reality, I don't have it, or it will take years to obtain it. That makes me feel insecure and depressed. Now. Back to college and temporary job. After getting laid off from a good-paying job during the first lockdown pandemic, I met some friendly and suitable people while attending college. Some of them gave them friendly advice, their struggles, and dating advice. However, people still don't understand reality or refuse to change their perspective of materialism. The funny part is that the ones who found their expectations have either been cheated by their dream partner, given up, or let themselves go, or lost everything during the first year of the lockdown. Some came back because I didn't give up or didn't fall on my luck. Not being messed up, I flipped the bird and told them myself not wasted my time. Their reaction was priceless and regretted. Hopefully, once this is over, I might have a slight chance to find someone.
