This includes medical, dental, and vision. And mental health.

I kinda wanna get some mental health therapy but I don't want the people who told me "you need help" to have the satisfaction of me doing what they said, and I do not want them to think it was their idea.

I think the therapist, once they see who I am, will diagnose me with autism. The family member who tells me I need help said Im "not autistic, but a narcissist and a sociopath." And they're demanding that I get an official diagnosis before they'll not say I'm narcissistic/sociopathic. I have taken many online tests, that are as scientific as possible for online tests. Both for sociopathy and narcissism (I'm neither one, say the tests), and for neurodivergence (very likely, say the tests), but that won't satisfy this person. I got a free question from an online licensed therapist on Better Help, and upon reading my wall of text, she said it's highly unlikely that I'm a narcissist or sociopath, and possible that I'm autistic but would need further evaluation to rule out anxiety and trauma. That won't satisfy this person. I have to go and spend my own money on a therapist to find out what I already know myself to be true. But I'm told by a few people now that it's usually narcissists who call other people narcissists, and they have exhibited plenty of those traits themself. Maybe I am not the bad guy? Maybe they really are the crazy one, not me? I don't want them to think it's their idea, but also I want to get diagnosis in writing so I can say "I told you so!" Because they need to eat crow at the next family gathering.

Good, so see a therapist and get the diagnosis in writing if you can.

Hey, never listen to other people. They are NOT your personal therapists. I don't think you are narcissistic/sociopathic and that it's very likely that the person who is calling you those things is trying to mess with your feelings. A therapist doesn't need to be something everyone knows about; it's fine if you go to a therapist and don't tell anyone. If anything, it can help you feel better and rule out any bad things anyone's said about you. As for the people who are calling you a narcissist, the best thing to do is ignore them. Even if they tell you that you need written proof that you're not, just don't engage with them anymore. It's a form of emotional abuse and maybe gaslighting. No one can tell you what you are or can know yourself better than you do.
