"If love is truly a sin", a poem (thoughts after reading are welcomed)

Curse me. Curse me, curse me, curse me.
I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you.
If hell is the price I have to pay
For giving someone my love, affection, admiration,
I'll walk myself from the purgatory to the gates of hell
And tie myself to Satan's door.
I'll welcome any punishment given,
For no matter how wronged I may have been
I know my actions were never vile
And so I'll accept all pain in bliss and think
"My, what a blessing it was to be loved and to love another".
Curse me for my sin, God or Devil
For my sin was only ever loving someone of the same gender.
