so my roommates and I have very different opinions on what the ac/heat should be set on. We have been having a figurative fight over what to keep it at for about a year now. we finally agreed to keep it at 72 during the day and 68 at night then my roommate decided to change it at night and I would get super hot even with an extra fan in my room. When the school year started and we got two extra roommates this whole fight started again because she would get mad that I would turn it down to 68 which is what we agreed to. after many months she finally agreed to keep it at 68 at night. now winter is approaching and she wants to turn the heat on because during the day our place is at 66-68 and 68 at night which I think feels great. However, she is trying to change it to 72 with the heat on at night which I think is unfair because I am finely sleeping well at night and she can just add more blankets. Now one of my new roommates and her are conspiring to turn the heat on and I asked for just two more days of no heat on because we are about to go on thanksgiving break and during the day it's still getting to the mid 60's however they are fighting me to tooth a bone about it and because I am the odd one out my views don't seem to count. Am I being unreasonable for just wanting a decent sleep in the cold and not sweating my butt off or does anybody have any suggestions on how we can peacefully solve this?

Because people feel the heat and cold differently this is hard to figure out. I agree with you that the heat should be at the lower temp because the others can turn on an electric blanket, wear more clothes to bed, and put on more blankets as well. Whereas you will be too hot with the heat turned up and will have to sleep naked with a fan on you. The electricity for the fan is more expensive than for the electric blankets. Anyway I think it is but you had better check to make sure.
