I feel like I've gained weight. when I look into the mirror i look different, my body looks fat but when I step back I look skinny. how will I know what's real or not? I'm currently on a diet because I see myself "fat". but my BMI says I'm underweight. I'm now too afraid to eat anything. I watch what I eat now. but I feel like my diet is so unhealthy. I realized that I only eat 1000 calories or less. however when I eat more than that I feel like ill be fat, like ill never be able to achieve my own weight.
my whole body measurement changed, i currently finished eating dinner and my waist has gained an inch, i understand that its normal for it to happen but my mind keeps saying otherwise. how do i overcome this? how will i know whether I'm skinny or fat?

Sounds like you’re just mentally overweight. You should should take a data dump and then since you’re gonna be so cleaned out, get some mentally fresh fruits and veggies to stay lean upstairs. No disrespects. Just trying to pass on the helpful advice given to me
