I’ve been working at a grocery store for about a year and a half now and at the beginning it was just a side job so I could earn a little money in quarantine while focusing on high school. Now I’m taking 2 APs, doing 2 sports, working on admissions for the college programs we have in my town and still working. The only change is now we’re incredibly understaffed at work so instead of my usual 15 hours a week I’m working closer to 30, even on days I say I cant work because of previous commitments. All of it is taking such a toll on my mental health and I don’t have time to do anything social with friends or family because I’m so busy. I want to quit my job but that would mean leaving them even more understaffed then they already are and I don’t want to be the asshole that does that. What should I do?

Hey it is totally fine to quit since it is affecting you negatively... You just try to explain them your situation and if they understand then ok and if not then it is ok too because you aren't here to please anybody... plus I think preparing for your college is way more important than doing that job and if you think that they wouldn't understand about your mental health then just tell that it is because you have college enterance exam and you aren't getting enough study hours or sleep ... just don't try to be too much burden on yourself because of someone else's problems.... still if you feel bad about it the last thing you can do is find a replacement for yourself..
