Now I know Novni isn’t the best place to ask about signs of depression, but it’s been itching me for some time that maybe I do have it. I feel so exhausted from even doing the simplest tasks. I play games for more than 12 hours and it’s starting to feel like a chore rather than a hobby. I always find myself struggling to concentrate. I keep having these recurring episodes of suicidal ideations and then not going through with it. I’ve stopped trying to find any bit of positivity in whatever I do, be it trying to be better, attending online classes, or spending half my days with my phone. I don’t know what’s happening to me anymore. Why am I like this? A part of me thinks I’m being just dramatic, paranoid, or delusional, but I also think that these may be signs. I have no idea why I’m like this or why I’m still here.

Yes.
ReplyYou play games for way too long and if you stop these games, don't stare at your phone, and don't use your laptop for a few weeks except for online classes you will feel happier. The only screen you should look at for the next few weeks should be the laptop for online classes only and the TV and don't spend much time on the TV either. There are other things to do like using pen and paper to write stories, poetry, or/and even a book. Do yoga, tai chi, and meditate. Listen to music, sing and dance. Go outside and plant some flowers or vegetables in your yard and look after them. If you have a dog take it for walks and play with it. If the dog hasn't any toys or only old ones buy it some. Learn to cook if you can't cook already and make meals from fancy recipes, make a cake and decorate it. Maybe if you are good at decorating cakes you can approach cake shops and ask them to buy them from you. You can learn to knit, crochet, sew, and/or do macrarme. I had a friend who did macrarme at home and a store let her put her macrarme into the store to sell it. You can even buy a sewing machine if you can afford it and make your own clothes. Please send another post in a few weeks to let us know how you are getting on.
