Giving beauty to unrequited love

I'm proud of myself, and I need a place to share it. I'm proud of myself because I've taken a hopeless, painful unrequited love and, over the past 18 months, turned it into the most beautiful bond I've ever had with another person. Being in love with someone who's taken doesn't mean you have to close off and move on. Be open, generous and kind instead, and turn it into a wonderful relationship. You can say "I love you" without ever actually saying those three words - and you can hear them back from that special someone without ever being verbally told, too:)
