My mother is a single parent, I love her. The only person I am scared of to my core is my mother. I get supremely emotional as well when something goes wrong between us. I find her egoistic, toxic and rude many times. Whenever I try to explain something to her, she just starts throwing tantrums at me. She gets supremely hyperactive, for days she won't talk, despite the fact I alwaysssss apologise because I dont want things to go out of hands. But she sayd things, blames me. I sometimes feel so helpless. I am 25 and I am soooo tired. When she is nice, she is supremely nice to me, but everytime she wants me to say yes to her, she wants me to speak in her favour. Can't I HAVE my own opinions???? When she gets angry, i get so scared. What should I do? How should I handle the situation.

From what you say your mother sounds as though she has a mental ailment. She is behaving in an irrational way and should seek help. You can try talking to her if she will listen without throwing a tantrum. Two year olds throw tantrums so she seems to be emotionally immature. Tell her that you have things to say to her if she listens and stays calm and tell her how she behaves and suggest to her that she gets help.
You are 25 so why are you still living with her? You should have a job and your own home by now. Leave home as soon as you can because this is a toxic situation and no good for you or her. You two seem to be rubbing each other up the wrong way. Do you think you set her off without meaning to?
ReplyPerhaps your mother is going through the menopause.
