Who is it the world needs most? That question is likely in the minds of every individual when they find themselves to be thinking altruistically. There are evidently a significant number of noble professions, of necessary ones, and even the not so necessary, although largely important in their own regard. The most noble of professions is not to be discussed here, rather the most noble of lives to lead. What then is it that makes an individual noble? Their intellect? Not entirely. It’s evidently not what they have to show for anything materialistically. What then is it that makes an individual the one who is needed most? It is the optimist, the person who is going to get up time and time again when the world seemingly continues to fall on top of them. Pointing to the crowd of reporters begging to spoil your day with a question that will make you stuck. Instead they keep answering questions, time and time again, waiting for one that eventually makes them really think, but they persist nonetheless, regardless of what hardships face them. They continue to suggest that no matter what it is that faces them, there will always be more to live off of, to enjoy life for. They lead by example in inspiring those around them to be better, to seek out a life that one ought to live, not one lived in despair, working from one miserable assignment to the next. They seize the day, after all carpe diem is so popular for a reason. With this in mind, they inspire spontaneity, they inspire the individuals around them to reflect, to live a life that is worth living. What can stop such an individual from feeling fulfilled? Not even themselves when they commit to this. For there is so much beauty to be sought after, so much inspiration to instill in that of others, not by lecturing, but by doing, by showing, and by beautifully expressing the ways in which one is meant to live. And one who is not living how they ought to live is not meant to merely suggest that they can’t do it. No, that is not the matter at hand, the matter at hand is realizing that you can. When playing tag, that feeling that you get, when you have to chase after that person, when you are solely focused on that chase, on reaching out your hand, and being able to say that you are no longer it, and then being able to run away again, focusing on the run. That, that is carpe diem. The feeling of nothing else mattering but that spontaneity, of that enjoying the moment, and not focusing on anything else, and eventually, on the appreciation of such moments, that is what we all have. Those moments are beautiful in reflection, even in the moment, it is merely our duty to not only see that for ourselves, but to show others they can do it to. If one were to live a life worth living and not share the secrets on doing so, what kind of life are they living? Certainly not a noble one, and they are certainly not being that individual the world can use. In times of never ending fear, panic, depression, addiction, and despair, those with never ending hope, optimism, belief, joy, and spontaneity are able to fill that void, that gap where the heart of humanity should be. They are able to bridge people together, they are able to inspire, and they are able to encourage love. Even when heartbroken, they are a beaming light of love, and belief, and of optimism, as after all they will have realized the true love and beauty to be held in life stems from within, and the love in which they can spread is not inevitably returned, but oftentimes it is. Regardless of whether this love is returned, the most noble act of all is that of inspiring, of loving, of caring, without expecting anything back. For if anyone were to do it for the reward, that is not noble, it is greedy. As Butters said in south park, do it because it is the right thing to do. There is no need for thanks in a world full of love, rather only that of giving one’s love back, of joining one another on a shared journey of love, beauty, optimism, and inspiration. For love is the most beautiful thing, and without love, without beauty, without the inspiration stemming from it, why live? The needed individual is the one who doesn’t care about what loves them back, or who loves them back, or how much love they receive, it is the individual who wants to love in spite of what it is that is returned, of what happens, of what is done to them. When that truly undying spirit is to be found in an individual it can spread itself as much as possible without the fear of having to go out. That is the beauty of an individual. The noble individual must love unconditionally, spreading love to anyone that crosses their paths, giving them compliments, or at least merely being warm in tone. They don’t have to be an over extraverted individual to those they do not know, but when they do speak, or when they do interact, it will be out of love. Even sometimes they may feel hurt, or others may be hurt by them, it is only a matter of life and they must maintain some sort of a dignified sense of self worth, but in spite of this they will only love again soon enough. For whatever dims the light inside the individual that makes them love will only do just that, dim. The light can never go out, there is too much love and beauty in the world for the light to go out. Rather the light will only will only persist, and eventually come out even brighter with time.
